Overview
This page explains what data this site collects — and, mostly, what it doesn't. NearNull is built to be local-first: the tools you use here are designed to run entirely in your browser.
How the tools work
The tools on this site process everything locally, in your browser. Whatever you paste, type, or generate is never sent to a server — it stays on your device. This applies to every tool on the site, including ones added after this page was last updated.
What we store locally
The only thing this site itself saves is your light/dark theme preference, stored in your browser's local storage. There are no user accounts. This site doesn't set cookies on its own — any cookies you see come from the third-party advertising service described below.
Advertising and analytics
This site shows ads through third-party advertising services, such as Google Ads. These services may use cookies or similar technologies to personalize ads and measure how they perform. You can learn more about how Google handles this data, and manage your ad preferences, through Google's own Privacy & Terms.
Comments
The Feedback page lets you comment and react using Giscus, which is powered by GitHub Discussions and requires a GitHub account to post. Commenting there is governed by GitHub's own privacy policy.
